Tierpark Essehof is open every day, even on sundays.
On cold days the Admission point is off duty. Please pay your fees if you meet one of the keepers during your walk through the park.

Our zoo is conducted by a private person without financial aid from the community.
We try to make fair prices for all visitors, but we can´t give any reductions for groups, students or senior citizens.
How to get here?
By bus:
To get to the park by public use bus 427. This bus route arrives the village Essehof several times a day.

By car:
Leave the highway A2 using exit Lehre. Follow street B248 direction Lehre and then follow posted signs Essehof and Tierpark.
Leave the highway A39 using exit Cremlingen. Follow street L635 direction Hordorf and then follow posted signs Essehof and Tierpark.
Coming from Braunschweig follow street B248 direction north to Wendhausen, then follow posted signs Essehof and Tierpark.
For your convenience there is a big parking area free of charge directly in front of the park entrance.
